Insider: Microsoft may hold a gaming event with announcements and screenings in early 2023
Microsoft may be preparing a special event where it will share news about the Xbox Game Studios line of games for 2023.
This was told by the editor of the portal Windows Central Jez Corden. He recalled that a few weeks ago he spoke on the Xbox Two podcast that he had heard about the possibility of Microsoft not attending The Game Awards 2022, but then could not get a firm confirmation. The journalist now adds that he has heard tentative and unverified rumors that Microsoft may be planning some kind of event for the first quarter of 2023, perhaps along the lines of the X0 trade show that was held before the start of the pandemic.
The last X0 took place in 2019 in London and was marked by new trailers, news, and announcements. In particular, it was there that Grounded and Everwild were announced.
Following the conclusion of TGA 2022, Xbox head of marketing Aaron Greenberg stated that the company has a ton of announcements and shows planned for 2023 that won’t be long in coming.
